Welcome to our Beach House on Tok A Lou. She is a 1926 craftsman style beauty situated on the shipping lanes of the Port of Tacoma. We have tried to maintain the early flair of the home as much as possible while making it modernly comfortable. The windows and doors reflect the quality and care that went into building this solid attractive home. The door knobs and hardware are the original glass and brass. Our home has 1 bedroom located on the main floor with a queen bed, TV, and walk in closet. The full bathroom is also located on the main floor. An upstairs sleeping loft boasts both a queen and double bed plus two wing back chairs in a sitting area that looks out over Puget Sound and the city of Tacoma. Non stop views from main floor living room with gas log fireplace, a 60 inch TV, Blue Ray player and Bose sound system. The Laundry Room has a full size washer and dryer. Kitchen is well stocked with utensils, dishes, pots, pans and many spices. The covered front porch allows a protected area to observe the endless variety of water craft as they parade in and out of marinas and the Port. A direct plumbed Weber BBQ is located on the south side patio along with sitting area. Enjoy the view while grilling up something delicious!

The Master bedroom is inviting with its large windows and window seat. Spacious walk in closet which encloses a large dresser as well as plenty of hanging space. Top down bottom up blinds that move in either direction allowing privacy as well as maximum light and flexibility. Lamp lit night stands allow individual lighting for personal preference plus a wall mounted flat screen TV. The upstairs sleeping loft boasts both a queen and full size bed. The loft is not just for sleeping … it is also great place to get away to read a book or just enjoy the tranquility of the the water from the 2 wing-back chairs.

Our home is a tranquil cozy retreat where you will enjoy non stop activity on the water right at your doorstep. Browns Point Light House Park and beach is a short walk from the house. Dash Point State Park has walking and bike trails just minutes from the house. As you walk through the gate and enter the property we hope you feel the positive energy which makes our home magical.
